Programme Manager – Population Health and Prevention National Programmes - Health Education England

Claire is a Registered Public Health Practitioner (UKPHR).  She is the Programme Manager for Health Education England’s Population Health and Prevention National Programmes Team.  

 

This includes leading on the development of workforces to have the knowledge and skills to be able to support people to make changes to their lifestyles to improve their health and wellbeing and prevent ill health.


Claire is passionate about her work to improve people’s health and wellbeing through programmes such as Making Every Contact Count (MECC) and public mental health initiatives.

 

Claire is a mindfulness teacher and has authored a session to give people an overview of mindfulness. This session provides information to be able to define mindfulness; the evidence for it; how people can access it and where to get more information and signpost people to for further resources and support.
