- This course includes the following e-learning sessions: - Infection Control: Early Management of Fever - Infection Control: Further Management of Fever - Infection Control: Diarrhoea in an Inpatient - Infection Control: Air and Blood Borne Pathogens - Infection Control: Modes of Transmission Hospital acquired infection is a major concern of the public, and practicing doctors need to attain the knowledge and demonstrate the skills required for the appropriate management of patients with a variety of infective disorders. These skills will relate to the treatment of patients with infections, whilst at the same time reducing the risk these infections pose to patients and staff alike. These sessions will cover a range of clinical situations in which infection is present, and give practical advice on how to manage these appropriately.
