This module provides resources which help you understand the importance of bereavement assessment and care in end-of-life care.

There are sessions which discuss:
• assessment
• communication
• emotional and practical support
• attitudes to death and dying
• sudden death in the accident and emergency department
• childhood bereavement

The resources in the e-ELCA programme discuss sensitive topics including death, dying, the different stages of end-of-life and bereavement which may be distressing to some learners.
