The Moving and Handling Equipment course contains two sessions. The first session is designed to provide a general introduction to the safe and effective use of patient hoists, specifically addressing adult hoist use. The second session is designed to provide a general introduction to the safe and effective use of patient slings in relation to hoist use. Each session is designed to last 15 minutes.
