- This session introduces the concept of the kinetic theory of gases which describes the behaviour of gases at a molecular or microscopic level. The behaviour of gases at a microscopic level is then used to describe the macroscopic properties of gases, such as temperature and pressure. This session will assist in the understanding of subsequent sessions on the gas laws.
