The NHS Health Check programme is a Public Health programme in England targeting adults aged between 40 and 74 to help assess their risk of developing heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes or kidney disease.
This e-Learning resource is aimed at supporting all staff involved in administering the NHS Health Check, including nurses, pharmacists and healthcare assistants. It includes 12 videos covering various aspects of the NHS Health Check, such as the key skills staff need in order to get a full medical, personal and family history from patients or clients, as well as key areas in which intervention may help reduce the likelihood of developing certain health issues. - Hierarchy:
