- This session will help clinical staff who have some degree of contact with children and young people and/or parents/carers to recognise signs and behaviours seen in children who are being maltreated. It is important to note that throughout the session, the terms 'child' and 'children' refer to anyone younger than 18 years old.These sessions have been updated in 2015 by Dr Fiona Straw, Dr Leonie Pereira and Dr Rajiv Mittal wth quality assurance by Dr Andrea Goddard and Dr Anne Aukett.
