This programme aims to address the early identification and management of sepsis. It consists of three courses - Sepsis in Primary Care, Sepsis in Paediatrics and Leadership in Sepsis. The Primary Care course is aimed at all clinical staff that work in primary care and consists of five e-learning sessions, aimed at diagnosing sepsis in adults, children, elderly and complex issues such as maternity and neutropenia. The Paediatrics course is aimed at all clinical staff working in paedatrics, and consists of films and workbooks. The Sepsis Leadership in Acute Care course is directed at leaders and will identify key actions for leaders to support improvements in the early identification and treatment of patients with sepsis. It also provides guidance on measurement and the role of the system in optimising outcomes. - Created:
