This programme aims to improve acute NIV thereby improving patient safety and reducing mortality. The project consists of six e-learning sessions on NIV which guide you through set up, weaning and palliation. The successful completion of the sessions and the assessment will provide you with a certificate of competency to enable you to access the practical teaching sessions. This training package is designed to be taken prior to doing a practical training session at your organisation. The 'Guidance on Practical Acute NIV Session' is available within the e-learning programme. Please contact the NIV trainer in your hospital for further information on how to book your local practical session.
