- Introduction to leadership in CAMHS
- Description:
- This session is aimed at more experienced/specialist users and introduces the concept of leadership within complex human systems. A range of models of leadership are explored including the Primary Colours Model. The role of systems thinking in the service transformation of the Children and Young People's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies programme is developed. Finally, the concept of the ‘leader as host’ is explored as a metaphor for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services leadership.
