This course covers the statutory and mandatory training for Safeguarding Children Level 2. It has been designed to meet the learning outcomes in the UK Core Skills Training Framework. The course consists of an e-learning session and an eAssessment. The eAssessment should be passed to demonstrate the required knowledge and understanding and to complete the training. To gain a certificate you will need to complete BOTH this Session AND the eAssessment.
Level 2 is the minimum level for all non-clinical and clinical staff who, within their role, have contact (however small) with children, young people and/or parents or carers or adults who may pose a risk to children.
Level 3 is aimed at all clinical staff working with children, young people and/or their parents or carers and who could potentially contribute to assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating the health needs of a looked after child or young person or care leaver.
