This session will consider the management of disabled children who are at increased risk of abuse and neglect. Healthcare staff coming into contact with children with disability include: paediatricians, GPs, health visitors, community paediatric nurses, therapists - physio, OT and SALT, child psychologists and psychiatrists, paediatric and orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthetists, dentists and others. These sessions have been updated in 2015 by Dr Fiona Straw, Dr Leonie Pereira and Dr Rajiv Mittal wth quality assurance by Dr Andrea Goddard and Dr Anne Aukett - Hierarchy:
