Learning Path Information
- Title:
- eELCA HRCH Learning Path for all clinical healthcare professionals
- Description:
-
Feedback related to accessing the End of Life Care for All (e-ELCA) e-learning programme has been acknowledged and work has been undertaken with the Learning and Development department to create a HRCH EOLC pathway that clinical staff can easily locate. As you may recall, it was agreed with the Directors of Clinical Services and the Head of Improvement for Nursing and AHPs that the e-learning sessions on EOLC will form a key part of the core EOLC training. The e-ELCA modules have been reviewed by the Head of Improvement for Nursing and AHPs and the Lead for Palliative and EOLC and the most appropriate elements have been identified from each module to support the delivery of EOLC in the community, both in patient homes and in the inpatient unit.
The aim for HRCH is that:
A) All clinical health care professionals complete the HRCH Learning Path for all clinical staff.
B) All registered nurses and allied health professionals that have direct contact with patients with palliative and EOLC needs, complete the HRCH Learning Path for registered nurses.
Other elements within the training can be completed to support practice in specific fields as part of continuing professional development. If you have any questions or would like any EOLC advice, please do not hesitate to contact the Lead for Palliative and EOLC within the Trust. - Hierarchy:
- End of Life Care (e-ELCA) > e-ELCA learning paths: Organisations > e-ELCA learning paths: HRCH > eELCA HRCH Learning Path for all clinical healthcare professionals
- Keywords:
- Certificate, e-learning, End of Life Care, end of life care pathway, England, introduction, jigsaw, learning management system, Northern Ireland, online help, palliative care, physical, printing, psychosocial, Scotland, spiritual, tracking learning, Wales, HRCH
