Welcome Module - an overview of navigation through the eLearning modules and the overall training requirements and course structure. 5 mins to completeEach learning module has an assessment at end which must be passed with 80% or more. Module 1 - Introduction to Data Security Awareness - covers the importance of data security in health and care, the National Data Guardian Standards. It also demonstrates the different types and value of information along with Data Security - Confidentiality,
Integrity and Availability. 12 mins to completeModule 2 -Introduction to the Law and how it works with the NHS and Care sector, including, The Caldicott Principle, The Data Protection Act 1998, The General Data Protection Regulation 2016, The Freedom of Information Act 200. 12 mins to complete
Module 3 - Threats to Data Security and how to avoid the, this module covers areas such as Social engineering, malicious software and Physical security. It also advises on using social media and email safely. 14 mins to complete (includes a 1minute 45 second video)
Module 4 - covers all aspect of breaches and incidents including Identifying, avoiding and reporting 12 mins to complete
A certificate can be collected for those who pass all the assessments. The pass mark for the course is 80%.
