This programme provides participants with an overview of the underpinning policy changes which have informed both the development of Midwifery Continuity of Carer (MCoC) models and proposed changes of midwifery care in England.
The programme has two parts. The first part provides a base level of understanding of Maternity Continuity of Carer its policy drivers and evidence base for delivery. This session is a pre-requisite to be completed prior to attending the National Midwifery Continuity of Carer training workshops and masterclasses. The second session, developed by the Royal College of Midwives, is an optional, more in depth, resource about case load modelling. - Created:
