This session focuses on occupational therapy interventions for women experiencing (or at risk of) perinatal mental health problems. It will enable occupational therapists to consider their use of occupation-centred and generic interventions to promote mothers' occupational performance and participation in self-care, leisure, productive and mothering occupations. The session also includes the use of co-occupations to promote mother/infant bonding/attachment and child development.
