This learning path contains sessions relating to COVID-19 that are relevant to those working with patients with palliative and end of life care needs. Core sessions are key learning materials for these staff; they include a new e-ELCA session on COVID-19 and palliative, end-of-life and bereavement care, as well as 5 further existing e-ELCA sessions. Additional sessions provide a further learning opportunity from other existing e-ELCA sessions. The guideline contains NHS England and NHS Improvement Guidelines on palliative care in hospital during the coronavirus pandemic. The documents and videos section, based on 'discussing unwelcome news' will be particularly useful in supporting communication skills in the context of COVID-19.
