These taster sessions are targeted at health care staff who have frequent or infrequent contact with people at end of life e.g. those working in primary and community care settings, acute care e.g. oncology, cardiology, respiratory, elderly, ITU, A&E. (NB. There is a different set of taster sessions for health care staff who specialise in palliative and end of life care). The tasters are divided into 3 groups for healthcare staff – HC1, targeted at Assistant level staff e.g. healthcare support workers, HC2 targeted at Practitioner level staff e.g. registered nurses and HC3 targeted at Advanced Practitioner level e.g. senior nurses, medical staff.
