The Emergency Medicine Leaders (EMLeaders) Programme has been designed to develop and support leadership within the emergency department workforce. The programme aims to ensure the workforce:
• is more knowledgeable about clinical leadership and how to apply this knowledge in their role
• feels better supported and equipped to make decisions in the workplace and manage the challenging environment of the emergency department
To support this the programme has launched two e-Learning sessions: Leading Self and Leading Teams.
The sessions will provide learners with the core principles around leadership within an Emergency Department context. Learners will be able to work through these sessions at their own pace and include interactive activities as well as reflective practice. There is a separate reflective practice worksheet related to the content in the modules, that can be uploaded to the e-Portfolio to support key learning objectives as well as take to future regional discussion groups. - Hierarchy:
