This course provides information about the COVID-19 national vaccination programme which was introduced in the UK in December 2020 with the aim of preventing further cases of, and deaths from novel coronavirus.

It is designed to provide healthcare practitioners involved in delivering the national COVID-19 vaccination programme with the knowledge they need to safely and effectively deliver the programme and to promote high uptake of the vaccine.

It will cover the core knowledge areas including vaccine eligibility and legal aspects. After completing this session and the accompanying knowledge assessment session, those with a role in delivering or advising on the COVID-19 vaccines should complete the vaccine specific sessions.
