Course Information
- Title:
- ENDO 1
- Description:
-
Each elearning session covers a distinct area of endoscopy practice and provides an overview of the subject area and links to further learning resources. Interactive learning is incorporated into each session with a variety of question formats related to each subject area.
The sessions cover a virtual curriculum of knowledge-based competencies required by members of the endoscopy workforce to establish a firm foundation for their further training. This learning tool should be used as pre-requisite to the ENDO1 half day training course (virtual or face to face), and completion of section 1 and 2 of the JETS Workforce ePortfolio and competency framework. The completion of the e-learning provides evidence of learning in areas that are central to the practice of endoscopy. These sessions support the completion of the foundation level of the JETS Workforce ePortfolio and are required to complete the foundation segment (level 1).
NHS Education for Scotland supports the JETS workforce resources within ENDO 1 and ENDO 2 for Endoscopy Practice across Scotland. There are notable variances within Decontamination Practice and Legislation for which learners within Scotland, should refer to specific National guidance. - Hierarchy:
- Endoscopy (EPY) > JETS Workforce > ENDO 1
- Keywords:
- Endoscopy, Endoscopist, Non-medical endoscopist, Endoscopy Trainer, Endoscopy Nurse, Endoscopy assistant, Knowledge based competencies, Endoscopy Service, JAG, JETS e-portfolio, competency framework, blended learning, Non-Technical Skills, safety, improving safety, reducing error
