Welcome to the Fundamentals of Acute Care and Treatment in Stroke (FACTS) Online Educational Resource. The purpose of this resource is to provide an overview of stroke care across the entire pathway. Upon completion you should have a factual level (level 2) of knowledge reagrding the fundamental aspects of care provision after stroke. This resource covers the knowledge sections of the 16 elements stroke care as outlined in the Stroke-Specific Education Framework (SSEF) www.stroke-education.org.uk and is based on the Stroke Care Pathway and relevant best practice guidelines.
