This course is aimed at nurses, nursing associates, midwives, and other registered healthcare professionals who support students on NMC approved programmes during their practice placements. This includes nursing, nursing associate and midwifery programmes. Learners will explore the role and responsibilities of the practice supervisor as described in the NMC standards for student supervision and assessment (2018). The course also looks at coaching models and how they can enhance student learning, and the importance and value of feedback in the assessment process.
