A leader needs to be able to express strategic vision for the organisation, to react strategically to various challenges/problems, generate solutions and to motivate and persuade others to acquire that vision. In this session, we will look at the key areas you may apply strategy and the subsequent important skills needed for an adaptive strategic leader. You may wish to complete this session and then refer to it later when completing a quality improvement project (QIP) or another piece of development work. Activities to support a QIP are available in Further Reading.
