Description:

This programme focuses on adult safeguarding and the roles and responsibilities of those working in secure and detained settings in England. It has been developed for a multi-agency audience, to enable better collaboration between teams and create a culture of safety by embedding safeguarding into everything the prison does. 

The learning includes scenarios based in a prison setting, with attention to areas such as elderly care, self-harm and suicide, food refusal, and people with neuro-disability issues.
