This course has been created to support the principles of safeguarding and supporting those who can be considered at risk within secure estates within the UK.
It is designed to identify some common terms used in safeguarding, wellbeing support, and care for those at risk. You will be encouraged to develop this common language to improve communication between agencies working in secure estates and to enable better support to those at risk of harm.
This course is also for anyone working or volunteering in secure facilities across the UK. This includes HM prison staff from all areas of support, health, and local authority.
