The aim of the Back to the Floor Midwifery programme is to support midwives who have an active registration but are not currently working in clinical practice to return to front line care with confidence and competence, in order to regain experience and employment.
The programme consists of:
•core elements to reintroduce current NMC Future Midwife standards and the Standard for Supervision and Assessment.
•information about how the current health and social care systems are organised
•resources to enable to you develop your own learning, with the support of a practice mentor, including resources linked to the ten maternity safety actions, as outlined in the NHS Resolution Maternity Incentive Scheme.
The aim of the Back to the Floor Nursing programme is to support nurses and nursing associates who have an active registration but are not currently working in clinical practice to return to front line care with confidence and competence, in order to regain NHS experience and employment, including General Practice.
The programme consists of:
•core elements to reintroduce current standards of practice and supervision
•information about how the current health and social care systems are organised
•resources to enable to you develop your own learning, with the support of a practice mentor
These ElfH programmes will be available alongside clinical support from a practice mentor to support your transition back into clinical work.
