As a common long-term respiratory condition, effective healthcare management and self-management of asthma, is fundamental in supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential in all aspects of their lives. Led by a tutor who is a health professional experienced in working with children and young people with asthma, this course moves beyond the basics of asthma focusing on developing knowledge and skills to enable translation of learning to the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people in all areas of clinical practice.

This module is aligned to the Tier 4 Capabilities set out in the National Bundle of Care for Children and Young People with Asthma.
