- This session will look at the role of vitamin D in human health, and specifically at topical vitamin D analogues and their uses. The mechanism of action of the various vitamin analogues will be explored, as well as the major side-effects of these topical treatments. Finally, the dermatological conditions for which topical vitamin D analogues are licensed or unlicensed will also be discussed.
